Jock Elliott Jock Elliott is one of Australia’s leading Master of Ceremonies, he is a heavily awarded public speaker, a speechwriter and corporate trainer. In August 2011 Jock won the highly esteemed title of 'World Champion of Public Speaking' with Toastmasters International, placing him in an elite club of the best speakers from around the world. With 25 years of experience, Jock’s emcee style is relaxed with the right mix of dignity, levity and wit. He has emceed conferences, seminars, awards nights and weddings with his focus on corporate functions. Jock is a very successful public speaker. He holds 24 state, national and international speaking titles. He has competed as a finalist in the ‘World Championship of Public Speaking’ four times and was second runner-up in 1994. After many years of hard work and dedication Jock can finally add the title of 'World Champion' to his bio - what an amazing achievement. With a lifetime’s experience in sales and marketing, Jock understands the needs of the sales and business communicator, and corporate Australia’s need to communicate well to succeed. His training is comprehensive and supportive and focuses on presentation skills. He works extensively with corporate and academic groups to develop their communication skills and self-confidence and in preparation for specific conferences and events. Jock Elliott's Keynote Synopsis:
For my keynote, entitled “The Journey: or How to Win the World Championship of Public Speaking in Thirty Five Years or Less”, I talk about why I joined TMI and where it took me as a speaker, both professionally and as a contestant, the lessons I learnt, the successes and failures and the whys and hows of that journey. After 380 speech contests and six times in the WCPS, I have learnt much about what to do and what not to do on stage and will be sharing these experiences with my audience. 

Jock Elliott's Plenary Session Synopsis: 

For the workshop: entitled “Getting Your Message Across”,  I will discuss some core components of the speech writer’s stock in trade. Knowing what it is that you want to say and who it is that you want to say it to, is where everything starts, but too often, speakers fail to grasp this essential element.  After that, there are a number of strategies that must also be addressed.  I will discuss this from the point of view of the general speaker as well as the contest speaker and also with some insights in to contest judging.

Deborah has taught hundreds of thousands of people in 69 countries to speak, sing and communicate with confidence, power and authenticity.   She’s shared large public speaking platforms all around the world with personal development experts like Jack Canfield, Anthony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Blair Singer and T Harv Eker as well as world leaders like Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.   She is regularly featured as a communication skills expert in major international media and is a contributing author to the bestselling book 88 Essential Secrets for Achieving Greater Success at Work published by Marshall Cavendish Business.

Loghandran, DTM World Award Winner in Public Speaking 1993: World Taped Speech Champion 2008: 1st Runner up World Championships of Public Speaking Other Toastmasters Contests successes 2008 District Speech Champion 1998 District Speech Champion 1993 PAN South East Asia Champion Loghan @Loghandran is a Performance Improvement Consultant, Keynote Speaker, Coach in Public Speaking, Sales, and Customer Service. He is also an International stand-up comedian, having performed in Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore and Indonesia. He is heavily involved in audience engagement as a Producer, Director, Actor and playwright of 27 English Theatre plays. He is also an author of two books on banking and a book on tips on public speaking. His next foray is in filming; currently doing research on stories for a movie on Borneo. He was a banker for 27 years. His last position being Vice President Human Resources.

Rozana Yunos, ACG, CL Rozana is an active Toastmaster in Brunei Darussalam. It has been 10 years since she stepped through the doors of the Brunei Speakers’ Club. She has participated in many speech contests ranging from Club level to District level with her most notable accomplishments being: ·         2011 International Speech Contest District 87 1st runner up ·         2010 Evaluation Contest District 87 1st runner up ·         2009 Evaluation Contest District 51 1st runner up Rozana enjoys helping other Toastmasters as well as those open to receiving her help to reap the benefits that Toastmasters has given her. She has also been invited to speak at schools, universities and organizations on communication and leadership skills. Rozana is currently the Head of Corporate Services at BAG Networks Sdn Bhd, a leading IT company in Brunei Darussalam.
